Effective September 15, 2026. This policy describes the privacy approach intended for Luhvly's public launch and should receive final legal review before production release.
Information you provide
This may include your account details, profile content, photos, dating preferences, travel plans you choose to share, verification submissions, messages, support requests, reports, and subscription-related information.
Information collected automatically
Luhvly may process device, security, log, approximate location, usage and anti-fraud signals needed to operate, secure and improve the service. Precise location should only be used when a user intentionally enables a feature that needs it.
Sensitive information
Dating products can involve sensitive personal information. Luhvly is designed to minimize collection, provide visibility controls, and avoid publicly exposing identity-verification documents or private verification data.
Identity and liveness verification
Production verification may be handled by a specialist provider. Where practical, Luhvly should retain a verification status or risk signal rather than unnecessary copies of identity documents.
How information is used
Information may be used to provide matching and messaging, personalize discovery, prevent fraud and abuse, process purchases, provide customer support, enforce community standards, maintain security, and comply with applicable law.
Messages and safety
Private messages are not sold. Messages may be processed where needed to deliver the service, investigate reports, prevent harmful conduct, comply with lawful requests, or support user-requested features such as translation.
Sharing with service providers
Luhvly may use vetted providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, moderation, analytics, notifications, identity verification and customer support. Providers should receive only the information necessary to perform their role.
Advertising and data sales
Luhvly does not intend to sell private conversations or identity documents. If advertising or additional analytics practices are introduced, this policy and the relevant user controls should be updated before those practices launch.
Retention
Information should be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and safety. Certain safety records may need to be retained after account deletion to prevent repeat abuse.
Your choices
Users should be able to edit profile information, control discovery visibility, manage location permissions, block and report users, request applicable account data, and permanently delete their account from inside the app.
International processing
Because Luhvly is designed for international dating, information may be processed in countries other than the one where a user lives. Appropriate contractual and technical safeguards should be used where required.
Children
Luhvly is for adults age 18 and older only. Accounts belonging to minors are not permitted and should be removed when identified.
Policy updates
This policy may change as Luhvly adds features or legal requirements change. Material updates should be communicated through the service when appropriate.
